A gentler way to keep GrowthTripp moving

Samples for the Virtual Assistant – Operations & Marketing role: a one-minute video, a newsletter and a month of LinkedIn posts. Each one tackles two problems that quietly slow a small nonprofit down.

These are previews made only for this application. Full captions, the full newsletter and the full-size video are shared once you're on board.

The two problems

Where time and money slip away

Grant deadlines slip through the cracks

Opportunities get found, then lost, because dates and requirements live in different inboxes and notes.

The fix: one tracker for every funder, reminders at 30, 14 and 7 days, and a ready grant kit so no application starts from zero.

Promotion feels wrong for grief work

Selling Peace Cards or classes can feel pushy, so the posts go quiet and people never hear about the work.

The fix: every post gives something first. Your five stages, Release, Reflect, Process, Grow and Flourish, become the content plan.

Two quiet leaks, and a gentle way to close them

Dear Cynthia,

Your work asks people to slow down and feel. The work behind it can't afford to slow down: grant dates, partner follow-ups, posts, orders, board papers.

This issue looks at two leaks that cost small nonprofits money and momentum, and how each one closes with a simple system that runs every week.

Leak 1: Grant deadlines slip through the cracks

It usually goes like this. A promising grant turns up in a newsletter or an email. It gets starred. Then a busy month happens, and the deadline passes before anyone opens the guidelines again.

Sample 3 · A month of content · LinkedIn, twice a week

November, planned around your calendar

Eight posts timed around your New Moon Circle on November 9, Thanksgiving week and the Art in the Barn market on December 5. Each post gives first. Asks stay soft. Once the rhythm holds on LinkedIn, the same ideas expand to Instagram and Facebook as Reels and carousels built from your paintings.

A warm orange and gold watercolor wash with the words: How can healing feel more humane? Peace Cards for Humanity, by Cynthia Tripp.
Release & Reflect
I lost my father when I was 17. Two years of talk therapy taught me one thing: It helped. It was also heavy, slow and hard to keep up. That stayed with me for a long time. And it shaped one question: How can healing feel more humane, and less like a test? My answer became Peace Cards for Humanity™. You start with color, sound, scent and simple symbols of forgiveness. Words can come later. If you support people through loss, at work, in care or at home, what helps them take the first step? #grief #griefsupport #arttherapy #healing
Four watercolor cards in blue, orange, pink and yellow, numbered 1 to 4, with the line: You don't need the right words to begin.
Process & Clarify
You don't need the right words to begin. You need four cards and some color: 1. Pick 4 Peace Cards, at random or on purpose. 2. Let the color, sound, scent or symbol guide you. 3. Paint or draw with what's close. Watercolor, colored pencils, anything. 4. Keep what you make. Frame it, share it, or let it go. The picture doesn't have to look like anything. It's a record of how you felt that day. Want to slow down with others this month? Do you hand clients a pamphlet after a loss?
There may be a gentler first step:

Why LinkedIn

Why GrowthTripp belongs on LinkedIn

Your Instagram speaks to art lovers. LinkedIn reaches the people who fund, book and partner: donors, HR leaders, hospices, counselors and event planners. The grief-at-work gap is the opening. Managers want to help and don't know how, and LinkedIn is where they look. That is where custom GrowthTripp workshops for teams get found.

The plan, in three steps

  1. Week 1: your personal profile set up: headline, About section built on your story and method, featured links to Peace Cards and workshops.
  2. Week 2: a GrowthTripp Inc. company page, linked to your profile, so funders and partners can check the nonprofit.
  3. Weeks 3 and 4: the November series goes live twice a week, and Giving Tuesday on December 1, 2026 gets its own donor post.

Three small fixes worth making now

Your newsletter sign-up isn't saving emails

The sign-up form on your homepage and workshops page shows a setup note: it needs a storage option. Anyone who signs up there may not be added to your list. It's a quick fix in Squarespace, and it protects every newsletter you'll send.
